d0ppler Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 I'm 100% sure that I monitor the right channel in my Viper (UHF 243), but I can't hear the audio sound file. Which I know works when I play it off manually in the editor. What am I missing? A-10C, AV-8B, Ka-50, F-14B, F-16C, F-5E, F/A-18C, L-39, Mi-8, MiG-21, MiG-29, SA34, Spitfire, Su-27, Su-33, UH-1H
Sedlo Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 Is your Viper on the Blue coalition? For some reason, blue cannot hear red and vice versa. My Youtube Channel MY DCS MISSIONS
d0ppler Posted January 1, 2023 Author Posted January 1, 2023 We are both on blue A-10C, AV-8B, Ka-50, F-14B, F-16C, F-5E, F/A-18C, L-39, Mi-8, MiG-21, MiG-29, SA34, Spitfire, Su-27, Su-33, UH-1H
Sedlo Posted January 1, 2023 Posted January 1, 2023 (edited) Ah, ok... Just saw the red waypoint lines and thought that might be it... The only thing I can think of right now is that: 1. Confirm the Set Frequency for the AWACS has AM chosen as the modulation. (I've seen it get switched before for reasons I cannot understand) 2. Check to see if there is any line of sight / distance issues between the player and the transmission source.. ... Or maybe push the set frequency a second before the transmission happens? d0ppler Posted January 2, 2023 Author Posted January 2, 2023 I give up. I created a small test mission where the same kind of unit does the exact same thing, then it plays a sound over that frequency. I have absolutely no idea why it doesn't work on my "main" mission. A-10C, AV-8B, Ka-50, F-14B, F-16C, F-5E, F/A-18C, L-39, Mi-8, MiG-21, MiG-29, SA34, Spitfire, Su-27, Su-33, UH-1H
