Aries101 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Hello all, I got back to my jeff just yesterday and tried CCIP bombing in tutorial for practise. I noticed that my pylons got damaged even with all G switches properly set for heavy loads. Now I remeber it was possible to damage bomb pylons even in low G setting. DO you have any tips or tricks to avoid damage on pylons. SInce it is 35-35 degree dive I presume it happens during pull up after bomb release. Mike_Romeo Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Dont fly fast and dont pull hard on the stick. Keep an eye on the G's in the Hud My skins
Dr_Pavelheer Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Set FCS to AG2 config and clear master caution to shut Betty up. Now you don't have to worry about pulling to hard
Napillo Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 set the depression angle lower. Default is 120, but you can set it to 90 or 60 if you want.
BigBorner Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 I noticed, whenever I’ve damaged my weapons its because i rolled too hard. There is no FBW Mommy checking on that axis. 1

Actually, it is easily done in any aircraft, but Jeff seems to respect it the most.
