pauldy Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) If your airbase is in a higher elevation area (e.g. Mineralnye Vody, Beslan, etc..), do you set your altimeter to the aerodrome's elevation? or leave it as is? ..a bit confusing for me coming from the Eagle, wherein the pressure altimeter is automatically set to the airfield's altitude. Thanks^ Edited January 8, 2023 by pauldy [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Ironhand Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I guess, if you want to fly like an Eagle, set it to the aerodrome elevation. In practice, I seldom change it unless I’m flying in low visibility. 1 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...CR6IZ7crfdZxDg _____ Win 11 Pro x64, Asrock Z790 Steel Legend MoBo, Intel i7-13700K, MSI RKT 4070 Super 12GB, Corsair Dominator DDR5 RAM 32GB.

It’s just that, for now in DCS, there’s usually little reason to do so.
