Zakjal Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 Most of the time when I load up the game, it freezes for a couple of seconds and then my screen goes blank or a different random color and my computer becomes completely unresponsive. The RGB leds stop working and I'm forced to shut down the power and turn it back on in order to restart. Sometimes I'm able to get past that point and actually play the game but then the same thing might happen soon after that point or randomly later on. It mostly happens as soon as the map finishes loading and I have to select my plane, etc. though. I already tried lowering graphical settings and didn't make a difference. My drivers and windows are updated. Tested my RAM and VRAM with a diagnostics tool and didn't get any issues report. Validated the game's files to check for any corrupted or missing files. Did a sfc /scannow command and while it did report to have found corrupted files and repaired them, it didn't say how many and didn't solve the issue. Tried using a single monitor to run the game but didn't change a thing. Temperatures don't go very high, while monitoring them during the scarce times I can play my GPU goes to 80C at most and CPU doesn't get past 65C. Specs are: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor 3.70 GHz 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, 3600MHz, DDR4, CL18 EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 Graphics card 750W Power supply Windows 10 This issue is only occurring with DCS. I can run any other game without problems, even more graphically demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077 at maximum settings. I've attached a photo as example showing how my monitors look like when the computer stops responding.
