Pilot collective settings...I can't set it

I have a hotas Warthog and since yesterday I've been trying to set up the collective in the pilot section. My Warthog throttle is recognized by the system and is present, but the column where commands are entered is disabled. If I change the section to CG/P instead the throttle column is enabled and the axes work. So it's impossible for me to set the collective command in the pilot section... any advice to solve the problem? Thank you.

Have you tried "enable device" or something to that effect  by clicking on the name of the column? (either right or left click, can't remember actually...
