Gideon312 Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 (edited) ANyone else having this problem? My boatswitch isn recognized in the F18 anymore. No problems in the other modules. Double checked the bindings which are still there. Don't think a track file is very helpful. jonsky7 Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Did you try deleting and re-binding those bindings?

I stripped the throttles down and checked wiring and connections, removing and reinserting the plugs seemed to clear the problem for me. I did contact Thrustmaster and they were very helpful. File attached.....easy enough to at least have a look in there. Gideon312 Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Thank you Marshallman, but the hardware is still working. Even in DCS for example the F5E the boat switch works as intended. The Hornet on the other hand not. That’s why it is so strange. It was bounded to chaff and flare release. It did work, but after last update not anymore. rob10 Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 (edited) Assign it to something else that's obvious (hook or master arm) and see if it's working for that. If it does then as jonsky7 suggested I'd check your procedures because it's probably not a binding issue. You could also rename your .dif.lau to .dif.lau.bck for your F18 joystick just to make sure there isn't something messed up in that file (rare, but it can happen). Edited January 28, 2023 by rob10 1

Sounds like a solution. Found out I had multiple diff.lua's (version from 2022 and a version from 2023)? In the end I had to completely delete the diff.lua’s to get it back working again.
