scorpion69 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I've got a MS FFB2 and a Saitek X45. The Saitek stick is horrible, the FFB2 stick is awesome...the FFB2 throttle is horrible, the Saitek throttle is awesome, is there some way to use them together. The Saitek throttle is like a serial connection that has to be plugged into the stick, is there a serial to usb cable that would work or could I just plug in both controllers and be able to use just the throttle part of the x45 and still be able to use the FFB2. I would just plug in and try but the FFB2 is miles away buried in a storage shed and I'm not gonna dig out if someone knows it wouldn't work.
S77th-RYKE Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 BS is supposed to be able to recognise in game more than 1 joystick so you should be OK [sIGPIC]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v108/madmaxx69/LOMAC/Rykesig1.jpg[/sIGPIC] Savage 77th , http://s77th.com |Core i7 920|Asus P6T Deluxe V2|GTX 285|9600GT-OC|6G DDR3|Softh on 3x22"CRTs|Tir2|yeahIsaidTir2|X-45|Haf 932|Vista Ultimate 64|
Weta43 Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I'm mixing & matching throttle & stick - if you can connect it to the machine, you'll be OK Cheers.
RCN_Moose Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 I'm using that exact combo, works fine. Just plug both sticks in, and setup your controsl in game to do what you want
scorpion69 Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Great, thanks....it does work, so much better than that crappy x45 stick, should have done this years ago.
