StarWarsNinja500 Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 This (see attachment) happens to the gear sometimes during takeoff whether conventional or carrier. I put up the gear after taking off then after its up I get a warning on the gear lever, I go into F2 and this is what it looks like. But for some reason it only happens sometimes. Does anyone know why this happens?
razo+r Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 Looks like you put up the gear too late. The gear has a maximum speed that you should not exceed, otherwise the gear will break. I don't know the max speed number for the gear but usually extending the gear below 250 kts and retracting gear as soon as you are in the air should always keep you within limits. 2 1
