Just looking for advice on what programs I need to run what with the new OpenXR/etc stuff (all new to me) with my setup. G2 V2 for VR headset, 13900k/4090 on my machine I just upgraded. Trying to find simple/new/correct info is frustrating right now. What I'm looking for specifically is with openbeta stand alone DCS, what else should be running when I boot it with my; G2 plugged in. Do I need Openxr tool kit, SteamVR, etc etc? Thanks in advance. Primary DCS System: AMD 9800x3d, MSI Tomahawk 870, 6TB m.2s (2x2t, 1x2tb), MSI Ventus 5080, Seasonic 1200 PSU, 64GB Gskill 6000mhz CL30. 32" Asus 4K OLED 240hz, 49"MSI OLDED Secondary System : 14600KF, z790 Tomahawk, 32GB Gskill 6000mhz CL32, Asus 4090, 2x2TB m.2. VR: Quest 3 for now. Virpil Rotor TCS Plus. All virpil grips, TM Grips, working on VKB GF Grips.

Glide Posted February 10, 2023 Posted February 10, 2023 The default OpenBeta icon loads SteamVR. Or, you can create a shortcut to force OpenXR. If you run OpenXR, you should get OpenXR Developer Tools (MS Store) and OpenXR Toolkit (Github). I find the G2 needs a little adjustment for the World Scale (IPD in Game Settings or World Scale in OpenXR Toolkit) and Field of View. I run OpenXR at 75% with my 3080Ti, and that's it. No scaling, sharpening, supersampling, or motion reprojection required. With your setup you can leave it at 100% 1
