44th Eagle Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 I'm looking for a write up or video guide on this subject but cant seem to find much on it. Can someone point to something on this please. I'm sure its very similar in all air-frames. The mils settings, A/G and A/A, and proper techniques while using the manual mode would be great. thanks!
Gianky Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Hey Eagle! I suggest you take a look at Mike Solyom's excellent Youtube channel "The Ops center": what you're looking for it's the 5 video series about BSA (basic surface attack). Mike takes USAF training manuals and summarizes in his videos the basic principle of A2G and A2A as thought to pilot candidates. https://www.youtube.com/@TheOpsCenterByMikeSolyom https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLd5Qdmhmp3Y6LH36D_Nlyt7yh6bZA06oB In the conventional pattern video description, you'll find a link to a mission you can download to practice (if you have the F-5, you don't have to do anything more, if you don't, just add an aircraft you own via the Mission Editor).
44th Eagle Posted February 17, 2023 Author Posted February 17, 2023 Thanks Gianky for showing me "The Ops center" channel... good stuff. The BSA videos series was exactly what i was looking for.
Gianky Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 You're welcome! I'm actually surprised he doesn't have more viewers and subscribers, it's really good stuff!
