I made a mission last night with 2 tornado aircraft attacking ground targets.

 

Now, in the loadout section, it says the tornado has 14 hardpoints, but only 12 can be loaded out with weapons/pods.

 

I had a loadout of Alarms and GBU's and Cluster bombs, but when watching the tornados ingame the cluster bombs were on the same pylons as the GBU's and obscurring them slightly but the tornados were still able to use the GBU's to attack targets with.

 

I think the problem stems from the fact that the tornado has 14 hardpoints but the ingame loadout menu only has 12 places available for you to put munitions on.

The UK Tornado GR3 has 12 hardpoints, the German IDS has 14. The UK version only has 2 A-A hardpoints. The pictures in the loadout section are the wrong way around as well, that is easy to fix, just find them and change the names around.

 

That is not the whole problem, everything about the 2 Tornado versions is screwed up in the sim, wrong skins allocation, wrong loadouts, incorrect names in the Mission Editor. I started to sort it all out but lost the will to live after a while, ED needs to start again with this, not a major problem but a shame given it was a new aircraft in effect.

 

I have already raised this with them - no response, not a peep as we say in England !!!

Ah that would explain things, I did think that something was messed up because the pic of the aircraft was showing 14 hard points yet only 12 is available for us to hook things upto, so I figured something was messed up kinda bad, but atleast ed know about it now so hopefully it will get fixed in the patch, fingers crossed.
