Add key bindings and scripting + ME access to 'Ask the CLIENT/PLAYER a question and give them two choices' - such that they never need to use the F10 Radio Menu to interact with the game.

The utter lack of interaction between player and mission is a constant sore point and frustration in mission design.

One way to mitigate this is to be able to offer the player a (timed) question where they can have two (or more) choices that they can bind to their hotas such that they can respond to a branching script or trigger system in the ME and allow missions and events to dynamically adjust.

The ability to offer the player a choice between two options already exists:

and if you want, you can bind Spacebar and Backspace to your Hotas, tough I can think of a lot more useful items for my Hotas, as spacebar and backspace are about the easiest keyboard keys that you can use.

Doesn't work for CLIENTS. That's the problem. Nothing is properly supported in MP.

Actually, it does work for CLIENTS .. the mission I took that screenshot from has two Client Slots: one for beginning already on the air en route to the training range, and another Client slot with the player on the nearest airbase.

But you are right in that it probably does not work on Multiplayer environment.  😞
