F18 comms preset frequencies change in-flight

Is there any way to change the preset radio frequencies for the F18 radio in flight ... or can that only be done via the mission editor?  I'm thinking specifically about a multiplayer server scenario where the radio frequencies used don't match the hornet preset frequencies, and I can't access the mission editor as a user.  I realize I can manually punch in the frequencies, but would be handy to change the presets in flight if possible for efficiency.

Erm... When you select a preset with a rotary knob, then punch in another frequency and press ENT, this frequency will be saved into the selected preset. Rinse and repeat.

P.S. A handy list of all your presets is available under SUPT > UFC BU.

Ah ... okay, sorry. Should have played around a bit more with that.  I haven't had a need for it to this point, and I thought doing that only temporarily overrode the saved frequency.  Thanks.

It's actually not a bad question to have asked.  It's not necessarily obvious that it is that way, and it can mess with you (even if you know about it) and without thinking write over one of your presets (i.e. in a campaign).  That's why I mentioned the M setting.

How to get to SUPT > UFC BU ?
