Hi,

If anyone is looking for something like this for use as a UFC etc, I can confirm this one below from Aliexpress can work as a USB Game Device. It also has programmable RGB lighting for the under 25's 😉

I had been using a Koolertron 48key macro keypad, but it was tedious to setup because it can only behave as a keyboard. Many keys would clash with the default game assignments, therefore needing to reassign inputs etc, along with accidentally activating Windows applications if DCS wasn't in focus. I understand there are ways to avoid this but it required additional software and configuration.

Take care if you find something that looks similar or nearly identical as many don't behave as a USB Game Device.

It took about 12 days to deliver to Aus from China

If it's definiitely the same keypad and you've downloaded the Sayo device programmer;

software link  https://dl.sayobot.cn/setting.zip

Set it as "Joystick" in the yellow circle parameter below

Then in the "Key" tab at the top, select the button you wish to change and set it to "Joystick Bottom"     I'm guessing this is CHinglish for Button 😉

As below, set each button to  "Key 1", "Key 2", "Key 3" etc.

Select "Save Forever"

Then unplug / re plug the keypad. You should then be good to go. Sorry I'm not much help beyond that if that doesn't work.

Good luck 🙂

p.s.

make sure you select the picture of the item you wish to buy. The website will then show the correct price for the item. This catches people out if not aware.

if ordering from australia, allow for the 10% additional GST on the price

I had planned to order a month ago, didn't get around to it. Ordered a few minutes ago. Are the springs good there? I can probably order stiffer ones from ali right away, if they can be swapped.🧐

They look and feel similar to the Gateron reds in the Koolertrons. There's no click at all and very smooth, requiring the same pressure applied from start to fully pressed. IMHO just the right amount of tension
