Predator-78
Good afternoon everyone, I would like to submit the problem to those who own this device like me. Bought at the uni years ago it has always done its duty using together with a TrackClip that is installed on the headphones. Yesterday afternoon I realized that something was wrong, it was starting to freeze and opening the supplied software I was able to notice some red spots in correspondence with the box where the three green LEDs of the TrackClip are projected. I've been thinking about possible interference but I haven't moved my monitor location recently. As soon as I start the software it seems to work, I can replicate all the movements of the head, then suddenly it freezes as if it is no longer receiving a signal. I have already tried to uninstall everything by doing a thorough cleaning of the Windows 10 registry and also deleting the profiles folder in Appdata. I recently only updated the Nvidia video card drivers. I've been trying since yesterday but there's no way to make it work, has anyone had the same thing happen? Advice? 104th_Money
Predator, I just had this problem occur in the last week. I would open the trackir software and it might last anywhere from 5-45 minutes but the software would always freeze. I tried many things to no avail and finally figured out that my powered USB 3.0 hub was the cause of all the headaches. Plugged directly into the rear I/O and all problems went away. I would suggest moving the plug from the current usb port to another one to see if it corrects the problem.
