Riddick Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 (edited) Hello! The real Su-25T has a three-position rudder wheel mode switch that allows you to: 0. Almost lock the front landing gear wheel in neutral position. This is what we can observe before the first start of the engines, when there is no pressure in the hydraulic systems. The nose landing gear does not turn when the rudder is deflected. 1. Drive the front landing gear wheel from the first hydraulic system. 2. Drive the front landing gear wheel from the second hydraulic system. In a strong side wind, the rudder must be strongly deflected to keep the aircraft on the runway. And because the front landing gear wheel deflects in time with the deflection of the rudder, this often results in the front wheel exploding, because, this wheel is experiencing too much lateral load. In order to avoid damage, it would be great to be able to almost lock the nose landing gear in neutral position. Please add the ability to select the mode of operation of front landing gear wheel, as it was described at the beginnig of this topic. Edited March 8, 2023 by Riddick 3
NRG-Vampire Posted March 14, 2023 Posted March 14, 2023 (edited) ▲ I agree Plus we need differential (side) wheel-braking with independent keys and stick axes. ..for the Su-25(A) too - just same as the Su-27/33 Edited March 14, 2023 by NRG-Vampire 2
