Weird graphics problem

I've been trying LOFC out on my new system and I've noticed something weird that happens kinda often. I'll be playing and then all of a sudden my plane disappears and so does cockpit view. I can still fly the plane but it's pointless since I don't see anything.

 

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how'd you fix it?

Okay I've got a Radeon HD 4850 1GB graphics card, Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 CPU and 4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM.

 

This problem seems to be happening more and more often now, and sometimes crashes LOFC.

If you upgraded to Catalyst 9.1, this could be the problem:

With the new Catalyst driver, DCS:BS won't start at all, and I think that it might have strange effects on Lock-On FC as well.

 

Just a guess but If you use Cat 9.1, I recommend to reinstall the previous version just to see if the problem is gone.

Nope I'm still using the default drivers that came with the card. Version 8.9. :(

Assuming here that you have applied the correct patch for the specific version of lockOn Flaming Cliffs that you are running, and that your original Installation order was correct, ie

 

1 - LockOn 1.0

 

then

 

2 - LockOn Flaming Cliffs 1.1

 

then

 

3 - Version_Specific Patch to 1.12a/b

 

 

 

If so and in the absence of any glaring system irregularities as per your specs, I would recommend an uninstall/reinstall with the attendant manual deletion of all relevant folders as well as the deletion of the relevant registry entries after primary uninstallation and prior to rebooting.

 

 

And Oh Yeah - Any Mods installed?
