Frederf Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 There is a yellow bug on the barometric altimeter. How do you set this?
JG14_Smil Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 (edited) mouse over right knob, then mouse wheel. Yellow bug is for minimum safe alt warning, I set mine to 15m. It is the radar altimeter. repeat: yellow bug is the minimum safe altitude warning bug. Right knob (with yellow on it) under the baro altimeter is the controller. Place your mouse over the button and articulate your mouse wheel either way. Knob will turn. Bug will move. Minimum safe altitude buzzer will sound at a different altitude above ground level. If no mouse wheel, can drag mouse over it while holding buttons. Edited February 2, 2009 by JG14_Smil for clarity
VMFA117_Poko Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) QFE knob can be rotated left [- + RSHIFT] and right [= + RSHIFT] or by mouse scroll when you point a cursor on knob (lower left corner of the altimeter) The barometric altimeter has a calibration knob for QFE pressure setting of local barometric pressure (shown in the small window). The scale on the pressure dial is demarcated in millimeters of mercury (mmHg). The local air pressure is usually entered while the helicopter is stationary on the ground. However, yellow bug is on radar altimeter as JG wrote above. [EDIT]OH yeah, there is a small yellow bug on baro altimeter... I have no idea how to set it manualy as the manual says  4. Desire altitude bug (set manually) Edited February 2, 2009 by Poko24 1
Frederf Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Not the QFE knob, the yellow barometric altimeter bug.
