Hi all,

I noticed a graphical bug regarding the water line rendering in DCS DCS 2.8.3.37556. It happens in both MT and non-MT. Weird graphical bugs happen where in game objects meet the water. The line between the object and the water does not render properly anymore and the water weirdly pops inland for a second. See the below screenshots. It mainly happens when overflying coastlines. The effect still happens when well away from the coast where when flying low, random blobs of water pop around the player's aircraft onto the scenery. I hope this is clear, if not I'm planning to make a screen recording of the issue too.

This bug really ruins low-level missions. It's like random blobs of water constantly render in weird places where they don't belong. I really hope this can get fixed. Example is with the Mossie on the Channel map, but I also had this happen with other aircraft on the Syria map.

What water setting have you set? From my testing, medium, and low probably too, do some funky things to waves/water.

I have my water set to medium right now, I'll go and test to see if the issue persists with water on high setting!

Setting water quality to ''high'' seems to have resolved this issue. Only the low and medium water settings must me affected by this bug then I guess 🙂
