solved i do not have a mods folder in my c drive

i do not have a mods folder in my c drive, were it should be to add mods i can find one in my DCS World OpenBeta in my e drive, but the game says the mod is unauthored. for some reason i have all my normal Plaines in the aircraft part, but will not recognises the uh60l mod

look for the open beta folder in your saved games folder (C/Users/your user name)- if there isnt a "Mods" folder, create one in the open beta folder there.

Glad you got it sorted. You might want to consider using a mod manager like OvGME as sometimes mods do not play nicley with each other or the game and this can change on game patch or update to the mod itself.- using a manager helps you quicly and safely disable and enable mods . Not too hard to set up either. 

Also, if you get addicted to mods, the folder can rapidly outgrow your C drive if its a small one. You can move the saved games folder to larger drive but because its a "special" folder in windows there is a specific way you must do it- all this stuff is expained in many web sites.
