Jace11 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Seems to be a bug when in the mission editor you reduce the player's flight from a group on 2 or more to just 1 Ka-50 and save it. When you do this, the mission editor buttons for adding new units etc lock up and no existing units on the map can be selected. This is fixed by either reloading the mission (but as soon as you click on players flight it happens again) or by increasing players flight. Switching players flight to AI control and back has no effect.
ED Team USSR_Rik Posted February 3, 2009 ED Team Posted February 3, 2009 Can't reproduce. Please describe your OS, windowed or fullscreen game mode as well as your steps. I make flight with my own heli and 3 wingmen then reduce flight to 1 helicopter, save mission - but all editor buttons are active. May be, I missed some additional conditions? (Win XP 32, both windowed and fullscrenn modes) Men may keep a sort of level of good, but no man has ever been able to keep on one level of evil. That road goes down and down. -sulan- Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 I had the same thing once. I noticed however that while the buttons for adding units etc on the left did´nt work, the menu's on top did (so I could "save as" my mission and reload it).. Never knew the cause though, but I most definetly also changed the number of wingmen in the player flight. I think it's a non-issue though since all one has to do is delete the flight that locks up the ME-buttons and remake it.. Jace11 Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 (edited) Yeah it appears to more complicated than I thought (though it definatley has something to do with players flight) as I have had this problem twice now, but other times when it should occur, it doesn't. I will upload a mission where it occurs for testing, if I still have it... You can just reload mission etc but when the bug is present it will occur whenever you click on player flight, it makes editing missions tricky.. Edited February 7, 2009 by Jace11
