Lt_Jaeger Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 For me the real fun with this campaign has started after the completion. Currently I'm in the process of dissecting what missions of the RAG part I could adapt for our group as the "basic training course". Since that will be purely MP - so no grading by a program, I have to figure out how to align the maneuvers/exercises with our existing training, what to include, what to leave out. After that a set of grading rules have to be formulated and then to be figured out how to actually observe them (e.g over G can only be a honor system). I never ever in my DCS live have flown so many, seemingly purposeless circles, TAC turns without a second aircraft, snapshot drills alone, just to figure out if it will work, before starting testing with a buddy. After that, the rest of the gang has to be persuaded that it is a good thing that one is on the same altitude and speed after a in place, and not only somewhere near. Long story short, if one starts to go deeper into this campaign, it makes you realiz what a marvel it really is and how much work, next to a lot of knowledge, it contains. Thank you again, Reflected, for the best piece of DLC - next to the F-14 of course - in DCS. 1 1
