moshjack Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Hi everyone. First, my setup is as follows: Blackshark controlled with Axis inputs of: Freetrack 2.2 Mouse Saitek X45 Logitech Driving Force Pro (Using the gas/brake as rudder pedals) The trimmer works as it is supposed to when the pedals are disconnected, and I'm using the throttle's built in rudder. As soon as I plug my Logitech wheel in, the trimmer responds when you hold T, but as soon as I release it it does NOT lock the controls in (using the red control input view to verify). The pedals themselves do a fine job, and worked perfectly for me in lomac as well. Any ideas? I tried disabling force feedback in the options menu, but that did not help.
Shrubbo Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Well you just answered my problem at least. I rarely if ever use the trim but I was fooling around and seeing how far I would get on bugger all fuel and when I tried to trim it to fly level so I could grab my drink that was just out of reach the trim would not work. I filed it under "curious and will have to check that out one day". I just read your post, glanced down and noticed my logitech FFB momo steering wheel is plugged in. Not the power nor the pedals, just the usb connection to the wheel itself. So I booted up the game and checked to see if the trim problem was still there and it was. Shut down the game, unplugged the USB connection to the wheel and fired the game back up. Trim works as per normal now. I guess it is getting confused with multiple controllers in. i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. Thrustmaster Warthog T&S, TPR Pedals.
Shrubbo Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Oh sorry to answer your thread topic question, no I don't think it is your pedals.... it seems to be your wheel that is causing the problem. i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. moshjack Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 Fixed Yep that fixed it, I found that last night. I thought I had disabled FFB, but I was in the input folder itself, not in that config file. Thanks for the help though!
