I hate to admit it, but I have read many guides, seen zillion of YT videos, forum threads and whatnot, but so far, I'm still not sure how to properly switch to OpenXR. I am saturated with too many infomations, and I suppose half of them are deprecated.

DCS is running on Steam, and I am running DCS through OculusVR and VRPerfkit with pretty good result.
But I'm willing to take the plunge into the latest stable MT release and OpenXR.
FWIW my specs are:  Quest 2, 5800X-3D , 32GB, M2, 3080ti

I have a few basic questions for you guys :

1- What is the bare minimum I need to download to install OpenXR ?
    - OpenXR toolkit ?
    - OpenXR dev tools ?
   -  OpenXR Tools for Windows Mixed Reality App
    - OpenXR composite ?
    - None of the above ?
    - It's already there stupid !

2 - I keep hearing about the different options you (might) need to tweak under OpenXR.
   - Reprojection /ASW
   - Turbo mode
    - CAS
    - foveated rendering
   - FSR

Where do I find these options :
    - OTT/ODT ?
    - Oculus software ?
    - OpenXR toolkit ?
   - None of the above

3 - How do I make sure OpenXR is properly installed ?
Right now I'm not even sure I have it installed  or not. Oculus software is suggesting it's the active OpenXR runtime, but it's greyed out and I can't set it otherwise.

4 - Do I still need to run ODT or OTT every now and then ? Can I forget these for good ?

5 - I have upgraded to the latest stable release, but I can't see any option to launch the MT exe with the steam launcher. Why ?
Do I need to manualy create a shortcut from the MT binaries folder and tweak it with --force_enable_VR --force_enable_OpenXR ?

Sorry for beeing such a dumbass, and thank you for taking the time to sort the mess in my head

I think you still need the beta to run MT

With the quest 2 you don't need anything extra, you just click play on steam and select the MT version.

I use OpenXR toolkit with turbo on, this gives me much less stuttering, that's the only thing I change in the toolkit.

I also use ODT but only to change the encode resolution
