Supercarrier

Hello HB,

Reported this anoying BUG back on 29 11 22 and did not receive any feedback from your team. It is a pain to have to retrim the aircraft every time the

AI pilot takes control of it while the aircraft is on the ground. Could you please disable the trim function of the AI pilot while the aircraft is on the ground with Weight on Wheels?

Kindly acknowledge,

Thanks,

Lau

No customer support or modules in an abandoned state can only mean no further investments from ED’s customers. ED and third party developers are solely responsible for the level of features completeness at which they decide to release their modules.  Taking in to account customers feedback as well as finishing the products is paramount. After release, modules should be playable with important essential features completed at very early stages after the release, including bug fixes. ED & partners staffs should grow with the addition of newer modules in order to not diminish the level of customer support or further delay delivery as per the initial sales agreement. The virtual world we fly with our modules is equally important; there is no way around AI, real weather and the earth map. Thank you

Hey @Lau

Thank you for the heads-up on this and sorry I've not replied to you back then. But I tracked this issue as DCSF14-404 when you reported it. It's greatly appreciated! The team is looking into this.

  • Silhou changed the title to [BUG] F14B single player as RIO, pilot AI Trim BUG with airframe on WoW (on GND/Deck) Pls Acknowledge 29 11 22

That's strange. Yesterday I decided to jump into the rear seat for a moment while flying low to the ground. Iceman apparently still decided we were to high and crashed the plane into the ground. Not sure wether or not this related to the above mentioned problem though.

AMD Ryzen 5600G, RX7900 XTX, 48GB 27" 1440P monitor and Oculus Quest 2. WinWing Orion 2 w/ FA18 throttle, VKB Gladiator EVO w/ F14 grip, Logitech G rudder pedals, TrackIR 5, WinWing MFD and Voice Attack.

Planes: F14A/B Tomcat, mostly the B, F/A 18 C Hornet

Modules/ maps: Super carrier, Nevada, Persian Gulf

@Silhou BUG reported in 2022, acknowledged by HB (you) in 2023 not fixed in 2024. Just please disable the AI ability to play with the trim while the plane is on the ground or on the deck of the CVN. This is really annoying to have to retrim the airplane everytime I jump to the RIO seat to finish configuring the aircraft.

Best,

Lau

@Silhou @IronMike

I just read the F4 update and learned about the trouble times HB had to overcome, wishing you and the rest of the team good health and a good launch of the F4.

Best,

Lau
