Petrovich snowplow search pattern

Hi,

When I fly multicrew with the Hind we always use a kind of snowplow search patterns so the client gunner is constantly searching for targets and reports back to the pilot.

Currently the pilot have to pinpoint a narrow search area for Petrivich, which could be usefull but only when you know the target location.
I would like to see this snowplow search pattern with the AI gunner which is moving with the helicopter.

This search mode could also have some options like wide or narrow angle and close, medium, far distance setting. These settings will affect the search time, so if you want to search a large area effectively you have to hover the helicopter otherwise you might fly over the targets. Narrowing the possible search area in angle of distance would result a more dynamic result.

Yes, I want this. One thing I do is have Petro search just above the horizon. It will then search constantly in a 3.5 degree semi circle below the horizon. Since there is nothing to ground track, it will keep searching there
