Regarding the weapons when they will not launch

Regarding the weapons, when they will not launch. I was thinking that maybe the helo takes damage from a couple bullets, or missles strikes in proximity. Maybe the rockets/missles do not need a direct hit. Maybe this ground to air fire hits and damges some of the weapons system on the helo, which in turn causes the weapons from being able to launch.

I have had that happen in combat a few times. I have also been in a game with zero damage, and found I couldnt launch due to a dead laser.
