Dusty Rhodes Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I took the time to look over the first campaign in the list in Black Shark and took 8 of them and ported them over to MP missions. The names start with MP3 or MP4, that means they are 3 or 4 player missions. I am going to try and attach them here as attaching wasn't working earlier today. I hope you guys enjoy them. I will be going thru the rest of that campaign and the next campaign over the next few weeks and porting more missions over and I will save them. Let me know if there are any problems with them and I will try to fix them. All I did was add flights as Clients with targetting zones. No triggers or anything special. That will be for the #1 player. Any ways, here goes my try to attack them: Dusty Rhodes Play HARD, Play FAIR, Play TO WIN Win 7 Professional 64 Bit / Intel i7 4790 Devils Canyon, 4.0 GIG /ASUS Maximus VII Formula Motherboard/ ASUS GTX 1080 8 GB/ 32 Gigs of RAM / Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog / TrackIR 5 / 2 Cougar MFD's / Saitek Combat Pedals/ DSD Button Box FLT-1

MadTommy Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Nice work.. not looked at it yet.. but good idea. Does the Host have to be in Heli One as it were, for the triggers to work? Or are the triggers all good for MP. (i hope you kow what i'm on about) i5-3570K @ 4.5 Ghz, Asus P8Z77-V, 8 GB DDR3, 1.5GB GTX 480 (EVGA, superclocked), SSD, 2 x 1680x1050, x-fi extreme music. Dusty Rhodes Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 I know zactly what you are on about :) Someone has to fly helo one for any triggers and such to work as all I did was add helo's to the missions based on the tactical information of the briefing and looking at the units and their positioning. For the mission to work right, someone MUST fly the number one chopper. I tried to make it easy to identify by numbering the players with the name for the number one chopper simply "Player" and then "Player 2" and so on. Buznee Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Is there a way to simply replace your AI wingman with a client within your flight? I'd like to be able to convert the deployment campaign to coop MP missions so that I can fly them with my buddies. Also is there an easy way for the wingman that your replaced with a client to keep the same abris and ins data for the mission so that he has the same info you do and is able to share targeting information as well as radio calls?

Just add in the next flight at the same FARP. The new player just sets himself as "Wingman" and then picks a slot (2-4) in the knobs below the PVI-800
Dusty Rhodes Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Thanks so much. I will try and get to the second campaign ASAP. Maybe today but not sure. I hope people enjoy these in MP as I don't know that I could produce such and in depth mission as Matt has laid out. Buznee Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Thanks for the reply! Is that what the wingman selection actually does? It downloads the commanders PVI waypoints, targets, airfields and ABRIS waypoints?
JG14_Smil Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 no, the wingman selection number is for datalink. If the mission was 'prepared' beforehand, all helos could select the flight leaders ABRIS info by loading a flightplan.
Phoenix FR Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Are missions posted in order to play it ? I didn't play any campaign, i don't know which one should be play first.
Dusty Rhodes Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 There is really no order to play them in. Just have at them.
