MAN TRK "Ramp-Up" Speed is what?

Found a new option in the special tab for the Apache named "MAN TRK Ramp-Up Speed":

Please enlighten me, what exactly does this do?

Did not found anything in recent changelogs and in ED fashion there is of course no tooltip when hovering over it.

It is for CPGs that use a 4-way or 8-way hat for slewing the TADS, instead of an analog stick. This setting will let the TADS slew slowly at first, then ramp up the speed the longer you hold it, which allows quick taps on the hat to make small movements.
