Hello, I can't modify the brightness of the HUD, I have mapped the controls to increase the brightness of the hud and decrease the brightness of the HUD but it doesn't work, it's always the same, does anyone know what happens or how can I fix it? I have installed the latest version of the BETA version

thank you

The MT issue was fixed a long time ago, it's likely not in cause.
There might be an axis bind set by default by DCS, check axis binds and remove it

No. It's not fixed. Not sure if it ever was. There are several reports on it in the M2000 and bugs sections.

The keybinds for it still don't work, on latest OB and MT version. Only clicking on the actual HUD brightness control thumbwheel in the cockpit works in adjusting HUD brightness

Yes. The MT problem is fixed. This problem prevented HUD brightness adjustment, even by using the cockpit thumbwheel, and only with dcs-mt.

There might be keybinds issues, but this is unrelated to MT and using ST version will not make them work.

What do you mean by " keybinds " issues?

The keys/keybinds for HUD brightness increase/decrease have no effect in the MT OB. If you press them HUD brightness doesn’t change.

Should I try without MT?

Thank you

Works here on MT OB. I've been dialing up the HUD from my HOTAS since day 1.

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

No, the HOTAS bindings may work, but if you assign keybinds to your actual keyboard , the functions do not work.

I don't know , feel free. I wouldn't change back to ST for such an issue, but if you need it , give it a try.

I tried, ST

HUD brightness does not work. Hopefully they fix this problem

By the way, off topic.

I can't see a difference ( performance ) between MT and ST

i9-12900k @5.1 GHz, 32 GB DDR4, RTX 4090, 8k

Average fps, 42 - 45, both, MT and ST

Either adjust the wheel on the lower left corner of the HUD panel with mouse wheel, or assign an axis bind to "HUD brightness". I just tested, it worked.

I tried, already

Doesn't work.

Can you please give more details about your hardware?

Joystick, HOTAS?

Where exactly did you assign, for the HUD brightness?

Which button / axis / rotaries?

Thank you
