Bosun Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 (edited) This was the top of the best arc I could make so far. F-15Elon maybe? Edited June 23, 2023 by Bosun
Ebphoto Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 Haven’t tried it with the SE but i did get the F15C up to 56K and Mach 2.1 with burners and a clean jet. I think you can get it faster but haven’t tried. I’ll have to try the SE later tonight. I’m curious what the top altitude will be. You could probably get it higher without the conformal fuel tanks on it and a clean jet.
jdm227 Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 I have just tried it. With clean jet and burners, I got up to 68,000 feet at mach 1.5 I climbed to 40,000, then accelerated to mach 2, then slowly climbed up for the rest.
Ikaros Posted June 23, 2023 Posted June 23, 2023 I've managed to do a 90 degrees nose up climb at full afterburner to 78,600. Engines flamed out at that point though lol. I was going pretty fast though and already at roughly 40,000 feet before I pulled up and started the climb. I think I was at somewhere between Mach 1.6 to Mach 1.8.
104th_Money Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 (edited) 88,915' is highest I could get it. Engines quit on the way down and unable to restart... tehaviata Posted June 26, 2023 Posted June 26, 2023 I managed 92,250ft. I levelled off at 40,000ft and accelerated though M2.1 before climbing with around 60 degrees pitch.null
