WSO unable to IFF more than once

Currently trying out the WSO role with my friends. I know you're supposed to do AAI FWD long to interrogate IFF, but it appears that I can only do it once per spawn. Leaving the slot and rejoining allows me to IFF a single time before it stops working. Not sure what could be causing this. I'm sure all my bind are correct so I this point it think it has to be a bug

I am also experiencing this. I manage to command IFF or NCTR once in a sortie and then it doesn't seem to work after that.
