JTAC giving me the wrong coordinates

I created a practice mission to allow me to practice various mission types, but I have an issue in that the JTAC doesn't give me the correct MGR coordinates. I also have an issues where the refueling pilot will communicate with the F-18, but not the F-16, although I can hear the refueling pilot on the  F-16 radio. I uploaded the mission file if anyone want to figure out what is going on. Note that I am using the MT.exe version of DCS.

For the 2nd part of your problem: I only see a KC130MPRS tanker (Texaco).  In DCS it is only capable of probe and drogue refueling (i.e. F-18, F-14).  You'll need a KC130 (not the MPRS version) with a boom to refuel F-16, A-10 etc.  It would be nice if the refueler told you he was unable to refuel you and why, but currently in DCS it just ignores you and doesn't respond if you try and tank from wrong tanker type.

Thanks for the solution for the second part, but have you had the same problem with I had with the JTAC giving the wrong MGR coordinates?

@RTS354 I looked into your MGRS issue and noted the Axeman JTAC unit provided the coordinates of GG32313599 and an elevation of 35 feet MSL. Using just that information alone, we know those coordinates have a precision level of 10 meters (GG 3231 3599 when split apart for easier reading -- each section has 4-digits).

The F-18's UFC, which I suspect your post may apply to, only supports MGRS coordinates at the 100 meter or 1 meter precision level if memory serves correctly. You can get fairly close to your target if you just remove the last digit from each section before entering them into the UFC. GG 3231 3599 would become GG 323 359, so you'd key a value of 323359 into the UFC after selecting GG from the grid list.

Alternatively, if you have the PRECISE mode enabled for your coordinates in the F-18, you can simply add a zero to each section. GG 3231 3599 would become GG 32310 35990, so you'd key a value of 3231035990 into the UFC after selecting GG from the grid list. The PRECISE mode can be enabled before adding your coordinates in the UFC by pushing the related OSB button:

Since the JTAC unit hasn't provided coordinates at the 1 meter level, your TGP won't be exactly on the target the JTAC wants you to engage, but it should be fairly easy to locate them based on what you entered there:

Hope that is helpful!

I'll run the mission again, but I was using the precise mode, but I didn't add the zero at the end. Once I did this everything worked. I'm still having an issue with the F-16 because it starts off with the wrong grid square, so I have to locate the JTAC on the map and write down the correct grid square before contacting the JTAC. Another issue that I have is that the JTAC doesn't give you the grid square, and if you don't know where the JTAC, the JTAC coordinates are useless.
