Played around with HRM function of the A/G radar and used it to cue the TPOD to look at some ground features (for example Batumi airfield.) Pod snapped to the right location, but was looking 1000ft in the air rather than at the point on the ground. Correct behavior? Edited June 27, 2023 by frostycab
Rainmaker Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 It could be. Going to depend on actual terrain elevation vs the active steerpoint at the time (radar uses SP alt to get terrain elevation info). The pod is a bit too smart at the moment, so it causes a bit of a mismatch. Would need to have more info on the situation.
