Wawar Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Hi, Airstart jet, patch map designation right on target. Target diamond on the HUD appears to be at the wrong elevation, under the ground. Track attached. null Radar Designate issue.trk
Solution Rainmaker Posted June 27, 2023 Solution Posted June 27, 2023 (edited) This will happen if the active steer point altitude does not match the actual terrain level of the target. The radar uses the nav system for terrain elevation calculations. You went after a target that was at a higher elevation than your active steer point, hence the offset. Wawar Posted June 27, 2023 Author Posted June 27, 2023 Thank you for your answer. So you confirm that the AG Radar is not linked to any elevation database?
