They give you all the relevant functions in each mode and with various preconditions. 2 Laptop Pilot. They give you all the relevant functions in each mode and with various preconditions. Agreed on creating some quick references from the manual as there is an awful lot of stuff to take in. HOTAS on the SE feels quite a bit different to the F-18 & F-16 in a few areas (probably closer to the Hornet but still quite different). There seems to be a lot more use of long v short presses and a lot more use of 'press' on 4 way axis switches. That coupled with a few switches being 3 way it can be a bit fiddly to set up reasonable representation on your own kit.
