Unable to Cage Velocity Vector in HUD

Manual Pg 149 states - "Velocity Vector can be caged to the center of the HUD by pressing the Left Multifunction Switch on the throttle. When it is caged, a ghost VV is displayed at the true VV position." I have not been able to get this to work with HUD in CMD in NAV, IST or A/G Master Modes. Is this WIP? The para was not marked with the yellow page X symbol.
