GordoVicious Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 whenever I enter the aircraft during a multiplayer mission my keyboard becomes unresponsive, I can use it to chat before selecting the aircraft but once inside nothing, not even ESC??? any ideas, am I overlooking something? Thanks
ED Team USSR_Rik Posted February 23, 2009 ED Team Posted February 23, 2009 Please make twice Alt+TAb (jump to desctop and back) - will keyboard works after return to game ? H-street Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 system specs including joystick hardware / software? my first guess without knowing your system would be to look at any software/hardware that deals with joysticks and keyboard emulation.
GordoVicious Posted March 7, 2009 Author Posted March 7, 2009 Running vista 64 Gateway FX Intel i7 Crossfire ATi 4850 9G DDR3 Razer Keyboard/Mouse (when i disable the keyboard driver the game goes to blue screen) N52te Saitek x52-pro (nut-shell over view) Dont understand why the game runs fine untill I try to play multi, been trying to find where I hid my spare keyboard to see if that will be a quick fix! Any help, or more info?
Slayer Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 You have 3 devices capable of sending text input to the game. I would try to work through those first. Could be some conflict between the programing software for your different devices? I'd start with the N52 first. Nightshadow81 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I have the same Problem. As soon as I move my throttle the keyboard and the buttons on my stick don't work anymore. It works again after I Alt-tabbed several times back into the game. System Specs: Phenom 9950 Ati 4870X2 4GB DDR2 Vista 64 Saitek X45 Logitech G15 and G5
Slayer Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I'm not sure if it's the game or the programing software but occasionally when i notice that the buttons are not working its because the control key is stuck (not pysically stuck, like windows thinks its pressed and it's not) I have to hit it a few times then it returns to normal. I don't use short release delays or anything like that on my macros either... oritpro Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 That's a weird problem. I have a Belkin N52, Saitek x45, and a Saitek Cyborg Command Unit all working on my system, and my mouse doesn't do that. But the game still doesn't respond to mouse button mappings so maybe that's the reason why. Hobnail Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I have this, in multiplayer only. Win7, X52, Dell USB kb, TrackIR. It will work for the first spawn but when I try to respawn in the same slot BS ceases to recognise the keystrokes. BUT Windows still does, I can get back to desktop with Ctrl-Esc etc...then tried yanking USB cables and restarting joystick software with no luck. Only seems to happen in multi and only after I respawn.
