crazysundog Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 You do know that you can assign any button to shiftstate? My shiftstate is the i button on my throttle. I feel that's a more natural button for me to press as shift. Me too; I have the 'clutch'/i button as a shiftstate........of course I also use the pinkie as a shift... so in effect I have 9 states: or 3 modes with 3 states per button. I do, I use the first detent to fire the cannon, and the second detent to release weapons. I do too here...but I have the first detent for release weapons and the second for cannon fire, but that is in mode-2. Mode-1, my trigger is the brake and parking brake; Mode-3 is the release weapons and Emergency Release weapons on second detent.(so i can fire all vikhrs off in a hurry!!)
Slayer Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I use the thumb button as trimmer. The pinky as a shiftstate so that pinky + thumb button is a trim reset. I reset a lot as the turn on target likes to flake out at the worst possible times. topdog Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 If the answer to the question "Are you running the saitek profiler app in the system tray" is yes, then edit your (saitek software) profile and remove the 3 columns from it that include the pinkie as the shift state that makes it use the values from that column. I put images showing the before/after differences with the profile and what you're trying to achieve in a couple of other threads like this one if you want to see it: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=976173&postcount=22 [ i7 2600k 4.6GHz :: 16GB Mushkin Blackline LV :: EVGA GTX 1080ti 11GB ] [ TM Warthog / Saitek Rudder :: Oculus Rift :: Obutto cockpit :: Acer HN274H 27" 120Hz :: 3D Vision Ready ]
