FireHazard Posted July 8, 2023 Posted July 8, 2023 Direct X/Windows sees my rudder controller toe brake axes, fine. When I try to bind the left wheel brake DCS will not recognise the axis, it will recognise the right axis. Resetting the Rudder binds to default results in the Left Brake being assigned to Pitch and the Right to Roll... DCS does SEE the left brake movement..but I cannot clear and bind it to the Brake... The rudder axis is fine, just the brakes.
lxsapper Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 I don't have an issue with this, but I'm using a Vjoy device programed through Joystick Gremlin. My Rudders Are the Saitek Combat Pedals. Not sure how much this is information is helpfull to you, but I can at least confirm that the Axis is programable.
MAXsenna Posted July 10, 2023 Posted July 10, 2023 Try to just clear the whole column and start over with the pedals, instead of setting them to default, because that will only make DCS map them incorrectly depending on how the maker of the pedals named the different axis. In any case, your issue makes no sense if Windows sees all of the axis, and DCS only some of them. Maybe you need to rescan controllers or restart DCS. Cheers!
