I'm getting this quite a bit. For whatever reason, wreakage or unexplained ground unit halting, it stops my column. I do now understand units on time hold will do this. --But anyway I'm trying to figure out a series of flags/triggers that would let me spawn a new group further down the road when the first is alive, but blocked...

 

suggestions?

If you have a good idea of where you want to spawn groups up the road, this should be pretty easy to do.

 

First, run the mission and time how long it takes the original group (call it 'Group A') to get to the spawn point of the second group (call it 'Group B'). Let's say it takes 10 minutes.

 

Then create a trigger zone around the spawn point of group B (call it 'Group B Zone').

 

Then create a trigger as follows:

 

Rule 1 -> Time is Greater (600 seconds)

and

Rule-2 -> Unit Outside Zone (lead unit from Group A, Group B Zone)

and

Rule-3 -> Group A is alive

 

Action -> Activate Group B

 

This way, if Group A is still alive, but has not reached the trigger zone within its normal time frame (presumably because it got stuck along the way), you will activate Group B at its spawn point as a "replacement."

EB one more question:

 

group is alive

 

if the group were not yet activated, would they be considered alive?
