Low_Quality Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 (edited) What I noticed: 1) The CCO mode is absolutely identical to the IR mode, except for a slightly lower contrast. 2) WMD captures the target very badly, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I don't think (see the first episode of the video). 3) When the container goes beyond the maximum viewing angle, it still remains to monitor the target, but from any slightest change in the direction of view (after capturing, it shifted the sight, for example, slightly to the right), it abruptly "teleports" to a random place around 20 meters. At the same time, the laser beam remains near the target, it has been repeatedly verified that LS-6-100 fly along the beam, while the container's gaze was directed in the other direction. 4) WMD breaks down due to care for the maximum viewing angle, when moving the container begins to "teleport" around 20 meters (see the second episode of the video). I can't provide the log and track, because everything that was happening was on a server where there were a million events. But I can provide a video. There are timecodes in the description. If necessary, I can just mess around and test it all in a separate mission and provide log and a track file Edited August 3, 2023 by uboats 1
Netrolf Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 I think I experienced some similar issues yesterday on 4YA. The pod struggled to acquire a lock on target. The pod was slaved to a waypoint, was looking at said waypoint and did some weird jumping around as soon as I tried to slew the camera. I'm at work right now but I'll check If I have the trackfile of the yesterday session in order to help.
redbedblock Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 the third bug sounds pretty similar to this one in my post. It seems to be caused by the INS AREA mode.

It seems to be caused by the INS AREA mode. Yes, I noticed that too. INS AREA works fine until the container is removed beyond its maximum viewing angles. When going beyond the maximum angle, he still looks at the right point, if you don't touch him in any way, if you touch him, he will break off and look the wrong way, but he can also break himself with some probability. However, the aiming point for the script has shifted adequately, and the laser will designate as if the lock did not break, but just moved a little. I may be explaining it very incomprehensibly, but how can I Edited July 23, 2023 by Low_Quality
Gryfas Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 (edited) 1) The CCO mode is absolutely identical to the IR mode, except for a slightly lower contrast. I've noticed this only happens in MultiThread. In SingleThread, the CCD mode works as intended. Also, in MT, SnowPlow mode seems to be broken. The pod refuses to snap back to its proper position when you depress S2, and stays masked. BigBorner Posted November 22, 2023 Posted November 22, 2023 The pod still has the bug that daylight camera is the same basically as IR. You can even switch between BHOT and WHOT when not in IR mode. Is there work planned on the pod or will it stay like that? You need a new track showcasing the error?

BigBorner Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 I don’t know. Looking that it’s even possible to change between Blackhot and whitehot with the appropriate HOTAS binds while not in IR - maybe something is a little bit wrong with the pod, too.
