Hi, i did search.. the old LockOn section has changed much..didn't find this problem.

Fresh install on Vista x64 - FC 1.12b

Everything seems ok except the A-10 cockpit/glass textures. I used this version "NOV 2408 SIMMOD A-10A MODEL LOF.exe"

Here is a wee vid showing the error.

A-10 cockpit problem.. Small Vid..

I have the following lines in my graphics file.

    common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\a-10-bmp.cdds";
   common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\a-10-tga.cdds";
   common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\ter-lau-68.cdds";
   common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\hog.cdds";
   common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\hogtga.cdds";
   common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\a-10-bmp1.cdds";
   common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\a-10-tga1.cdds";

Thanks for any help :)

Edit: I have a Nvidia 260 gfx, driver version: 7.15.11.8206

FIXED:

Cause: Shadows on Full, highest setting.

Fix: Drop Shadows down to Active Planner (one setting down)

Can't say for sure as I have no problem of this kind but try disabling canopy reflections or scratches. There was similar issue related to scratches in Walmis' F-15 model!

Thanks.. tried that..it did help but did not solve the problem. Basicially it limited the black to the mirrors & HUD and the control panel was messed up, as in the vid. i.e it removed the black from the cockpit glass.

I get one warning while installing the A-10 from SIM-MOD, dont think its sugnificant but here it is just in case.
