Chat does't show up

It seems if there are less than three or four lines in the chat, it does not appear.

Because of this, other pilots think I am ignoring them or I disappear, when in actuality I am not receiving there chat message. Then I have to press ctrl m, and of course this knocks out all of the inputs.

I look in the forums and found the height and delay settings for the chat, has anyone played with these settings so the chat will show if only one line appears?

To resize chat window you can click on the chat border and move mouse cursor down. Like in Windows. (first u must enable chat window by pressing ctrl-m)

 

To set size in file you have to open config.lua in /config folder of game.
