Irish1-1 Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 (edited) Was flying the F1 EE testing low speed characteristics, got it into a full stall causing the buffet effect to trigger, after I recovered and resumed cruise flight the buffet effect remained throughout the duration of the flight. fausete Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Hi, How long did you fly it for afterwards? It very much sounds like you triggered a compressor stall during the maneuver. 1
Irish1-1 Posted August 2, 2023 Author Posted August 2, 2023 (edited) I flew around for several minutes after, engine was working fine, it just never took away that cockpit shaking buffeting effect, same kinda effect you get in the F-14 when pulling hard or stalling but I was in straight and level flight with no significant AOA.
