F-15 SRS

I have the F-15 and trying to uses the SRS radio in Multiplayer. On all other aircraft I own the SRS radio works fine but in the F-15 I can't get it to to work. At first I was not able to transmit or receive.  After some fiddling I was able to transmit but not receive.  What am I missing? I know it has to do with the radio settings in the plane.

Make sure that:
A. Volume is turned up (it starts at 0% for both radios)
B. The desired preset or frequency has the asterisk/star next to it (hit the GREC C/M button to toggle)

Ya, that volume starting at 0 thing caught me a few times... also, can't adjust the ICS in SRS, even though the volume knob moves in DCS.

Is there any way to get the intercom to use a hot mic? Or doest this need to be implemented: https://github.com/ciribob/DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone/issues/663
