Onslott Posted August 25, 2023 Posted August 25, 2023 Hello, I've been getting into making videos in DCS recently and have been frustrated with the camera speeds and acceleration. I was able to find some speeds and acceleration settings that I could then changes values on in the view.lua file. This worked for the free camera (ctrl+f11) camera in Mission Editor, but those settings did not change at all when using the free camera in a Track Replay. I thought maybe its because the track I was replaying had the ogirinal view.lua file settings imbedded into it, so I flew a sortie online and checked that track which should have theoretically have the new view.lua values imbedded into it. Not sure if this is exactly how it works or not. Does anyone know how I can edit the speeds and acceleration value for track files in replay? Attached is my edited view.lua. View.lua The goal is to achieve the same kind of slow panning movement shown in this thread: With the current speeds, I am not able to achieve this linear panning movement at the speeds shown. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Levantiec Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 Hello! I tested your settings a bit, but for some reason they don't work for me on all maps (for example, it doesn't work on the South Atlantic), but everything is fine on Syria. Does background blur work for you on any views (f1-f5) other than f3? Thanks

Open the .trk file as a zip file and the view.lua file will be in there. I have to do this frequently with track files saved by dedicated servers.
