Bucking_awesome Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) Please can i have some assistance with this. I've been struggling to solve this for weeks. When i boot up DCS World, my PC freezes on the opening screen usually at 1% on the bar, clicking the mouse anywhere on screen brings up a crash report and then sends you back to Windows Desktop... Once this has happened, you cannot load DCS again until the PC has been restarted (see attached picture), if i try to load task manager to kill DCS once its crashed, then task manager crashes. I have tried, deleting the saved games folder, cleanup and repair and updated all of my drivers but nothing seems solve it. DCS was working very well for months before hand. so I am stuck thinking about doing a fresh windows install. Can anyone help please? Many thanks David dcs.log Edited September 4, 2023 by Bucking_awesome log file uploaded
ED Team Solution BIGNEWY Posted September 4, 2023 ED Team Solution Posted September 4, 2023 Hi, please try increasing your pagefile RAM: 32538 MB, Pagefile: 2048 MB How to manage your pagefile. If that does not help rename your saved games dcs folder ( keep it as a backup ) then run a repair and restart DCS if you still have issues attach the new dcs log. thank you Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
