some1 Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 IF I have the FFB Enable Trim Offset special option checked, then whenever I switch to the back seat, Iceman retrims the aircraft to extreme pitch, either up or down. He flies the aircraft without problems, but never stops messing with the trim, so it's a wild ride when I switch back to pilot seat. If I disable FFB Trim Offset option, Iceman behaves correctly, but force trim does not. Here the trim indicator is fully up with Iceman at the helm in level flight. 1 Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
Silhou Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Hey! I tracked it internally as DCSF14-511 for the team to look into. Thank you! 1

You can see on the controls indicator Iceman trims full nose down, the moment I jump in the back seat: The same thing happens when you engage ACLS with a FFB stick. It does a hard nosedive and is unusable. Perhaps the two are related to the fact the stick defaults to full forward to aid ingress/egress when spawning. some1 Posted Tuesday at 06:09 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:09 AM Yes, haven't played dcs recently, but that was still bugged a few months ago. Come on guys, with stronger ffb hardware this becomes a real safety hazard.
