Hi everybody,

Could anyone please provide some references or first hand stories about Usaf in the late 1950s?

I'd like to learn more about training, Atc, range procedures, syllabi, etc.

In particular I'm interested in the training of Sabre’s pilots at Fighter Weapons School at Nellis.

Thanks

The Google is strong in me; here is the F-86 Pilots Association homepage... http://yocumusa.com/sweetrose/sabrepilots/ .  This link is within the website; it is the scanned copy of "The F-86 Jets and Pilots" published in 1997 http://yocumusa.com/sweetrose/media/1997thef86sabrepilots.pdf looks like it may have much of the info you are requesting.  Also an great deal of other books and magazine articles on the F-86 are on the webpage.

Cheers 🍻
